Making as Medicine

The third annual Indigenous symposium is a two-day workshop that includes four hands-on sessions facilitated by Indigenous artists, focused on tanning hides, traditional beadwork, Coast Salish knitting and cedar weaving, as well as a panel discussion with Indigenous artist-entrepreneurs, who will share their experiences with the economy, cultural appropriation and establishing their careers along alternative pathways.
