Natural History Digital Field Trip Themes:

• Amazing Adaptations – Grades K-3. Learn about special features that help plants and animals survive in their environment.
• Meet the Mammoth – Grades 1, 3 & 4. Learn about how Woolly Mammoths adapted to survive in the Ice Age.
• Dinosaurs! Adaptations and Habitats – Grades K-2. Learn how dinosaurs found food and interacted with their environment.
• Investigating Insects. Grades 3-5. Join us as we examine Insect bodies and behaviours.
  

History Digital Field Trip Themes:

• Gold Rush of BC – Grade 4. Learn about the large and lasting impacts of the gold rush on British Columbia.
  

Feature Exhibition Digital Field Trip Theme:

• Ancient Egypt (this theme available Nov-Dec 2026 only) – Grade 7. Explore ancient Egyptian beliefs about eternal life.
  

Capacities: For optimal interactivity, we recommend one class per booking, though we can deliver to combined smaller classes in the same location if requested. For groups larger than 50 joining from one location or, if participants are joining from more than 40 different locations, please email dft@royalbcmuseum.bc.ca to arrange for a webinar format visit instead.

Adult Chaperones: At least one adult is required to be in the Zoom room during the program to monitor and facilitate student interactions with the museum educator and assist with any activities.
