Educational programs focus on human history and natural history of British Columbia.

Onsite: Learning Lab

Experience the excitement of on-site education programs. Programs are led by a museum educator and include time in the gallery, guided exploration and hands on with specimens and/or artifacts.

Natural History Learning Labs: Spend an hour with a museum educator exploring the Natural History gallery and engaging in hands-on learning.

History Learning Labs: Spend an hour with a museum educator exploring the History gallery and engaging in hands-on learning.

Feature Exhibition Learning Labs: Explore the feature exhibitions at the Royal BC Museum with engaging hands-on learning.

Digital Field Trips

Grade levels: Kindergarten to Grade 7
Tuesdays and Thursdays 9:30am, 10:30am and 1:00pm

These live, interactive programs are led by our staff and designed to be inquiry-based, ensuring a dynamic and engaging experience.

Digital: Tech Test

Wednesday at 2:45 pm, 3:00 pm, 3:15 pm, and 3:30 pm

Book a free 5–15 minute tech test after booking your digital field trip. Recommended for new users or to check your setup - computer, projector, speakers, microphone, etc.
