Each themed event is hosted by Intimacy Coach and Educator, Tanille Geib and Cora Bilsker, owner of Nested Heart Counselling, who will be your guides through learning activities designed to spark and deepen connection. Whether you're looking for community, activity partners, casual connections, long term partnership or a co-parent, come discover what “slow burn” really means.

Does your artwork feel overworked? Do you struggle to begin at all? Join us for an evening of multimedia exploration, guided by a self-described “recovering perfectionist”. Supported by items from the Royal BC Museum’s handling collection, this workshop invites you to experiment freely as you explore techniques for stepping through hesitation, generating ideas, and transforming “mistakes” into masterpieces. No art experience is required for this hands-on, participatory playshop. Please bring your curiosity—and clothes that can handle a little paint!

As part of The Story Collection series, this site-specific event invites you to walk through the historic home while storytellers share personal tales inspired by themes of memory, place, and belonging.

Set against the stunning backdrop of the Wildlife Photographer of the Year exhibition, this evening explores the theme “What the Wild Taught Me,” inviting storytellers to reflect on the lessons, revelations, and transformations that have emerged from their encounters with nature.

The Story of Our Crowns brings together Black women with diverse histories, lived experiences, and expertise to explore the complex and deeply personal relationship we have with our hair.
