Hello Exhibition!

Join a tour for care providers (parents, grandparents, etc.) led by our Learning staff member, while at the same time enjoy themed childminding for your kids. This program allows care providers to feel more comfortable with their understanding of the galleries, in order to support their kids in their learning.

Parallel Play

For select adult-focused events this year, we will be providing childminding as a support for families. The childminding will be hosted in the Royal BC Museum’s Learning Centre, and the activities will be related in an age-appropriate way to the theme of the adult event.

Fake Ghost Tours 2 – Gold Diggers

Ghost hunting brothers Abdul Aziz and Shawn O'Hara are back! Join them as they reveal the 100% confirmed* supernatural history of British Columbia's gold rush, including the scandalous career of the Ghost Mayor of Barkerville, or the province's first epidemic of gold fever (a spooky cousin to foot-and-mouth disease). No stone will be left un-toured!

One Man Pride and Prejudice

Charles Ross and Lisa Hebden tackle the greatest romantic comedy ever: the intrigue, dancing, proposals, lace (did we mention the lace?) are given the one-man once-over. We hope to see you rolling in the aisles in Old Town (not Jane Austen rolling in her grave).

Night at the Museum Sleepover - Family

Take your family pod on an ocean-themed adventure inspired by our feature exhibition, Orcas: Our Shared Future. Set up camp in the galleries, enjoy hands-on games and activities, catch a late-night movie, and more! Youth must be accompanied by an adult. 10% discount for members.

Night at the Museum Sleepover – Grown-Up's Only

Sleepover camps aren’t just for kids! Grown-ups, pack your sleeping bag and pj’s and set up camp in the museum’s galleries. Join us for a night of entertainment, snacks, and adventurous ocean-themed excursions throughout the museum, inspired by our Orcas: Our Shared Future exhibition.
